INTERCULTURAL COOPERATION AND ITS SUCCESS FACTORS

Cultural Contact Point Lithuania this year works on the theme of international and intercultural cooperation and its success factors. After local trainings, we are organising international workshop- training course “Intercultural cooperation and its success factors”. The programme of the workshop will contain exploration of the theme, sharing of experience and development of further ideas within the theme. The workshop will be based on active participation and will aim to prepare publication after the event. This workshop is also an endeavour to create a possibility of contact making seminar within EU “Culture 2007” programme.

General aim – to create a space for cultural operators to share their experience and define success factors for intercultural cooperation.

Objectives and topics
• Sharing Best Practices. To bring together experienced culture operators for sharing their best practices in realising international and intercultural projects.
• Reflect intercultural experience. To encourage participants to critically reflect their experiences in view of distinguishing success factors of intercultural cooperation.
• Communicate success factors. To record outcomes of participants reflections towards the creation a publication to better promote possibilities and context of EU programme “Culture 2007”.

Conditions:
• NO participation fee.
• All participants will be provided with food during training period.
• Expenses of travel and accommodation for selected 5 participants will be covered by organisers. Others are kindly invited to come on their own resources.
